For Debby and her family, space at home was feeling limited. She dreamed of a place to work in peace, host guests comfortably, and simply enjoy more time in the garden. We brought that vision to life with a completely bespoke garden room featuring a private, sectioned-off bathroom, a cosy home office setup, and a smooth composite deck that invites indoor-outdoor living. With low-maintenance cladding and year-round insulation, it’s a space built to grow with the family - beautifully.
The initial challenge
With her family growing and space inside the home becoming stretched, Debby was looking for a flexible solution — something separate from the main house, but still completely connected to her lifestyle. She wanted a quiet place to work from home, an extra room for guests or teenagers, and somewhere she could retreat to for peace and quiet.
Our approach
From the first conversation, Jamie and the team listened closely to Debby’s vision. We designed a multi-purpose garden room with two clear zones: a calm, well-organised office space and a fully enclosed, sectioned-off bathroom. To ensure comfort and efficiency, we included full insulation and managed all plumbing and groundwork. The exterior was finished in striking composite cladding, paired with composite decking that extends the living space out into the garden — creating a seamless flow from inside to out.
The finished room
This garden room feels like a natural extension of the home — light, modern and endlessly useful. Inside, the space is carefully arranged with soft furnishings, practical storage and a sense of calm that makes it ideal for focus or relaxation.
